Quickscreen USA – CLEANING GUIDE
Ongoing maintenance is of major importance in sustaining the aesthetic appearance of the product and surface coating, thereby extending the products lifespan.
Periodic cleaning of Quickscreen to remove dirt and stains ensures longevity. When Quickscreen is installed close to maritime sites or highly polluted areas if not maintained, aggressive staining on the coating surface can occur and gloss will gradually fade away.
Documented cleaning is advised at 6-month intervals under standard conditions and increased to 3 month intervals for your more severe climatic conditions.
Ordinary dirt and stains can be removed using a mild and non – abrasive household neutral detergent (PH 5-8) diluted with water. Automotive washes of similar level are often the best cleaning agent.
The Cleaning agent used should not contain abrasive materials or solvents as these may have an adverse effect on the coating surface and by doing so void the warranty.
Further to this cleaning should occur outside of direct sunlight and should never clean when the surface is at temperature of 85◦F or above.
Other important tips when cleaning:
- Wash with non-abrasive car wash brush
- Remember to always keep brush clean and clear of the ground where it could obtain abrasive particles
- Give Quickscreen a good wash down with water before and after you have cleaned
- Use a microfibre cloth to dry down
- Please always check once washed that all salt, dirt etc has been removed.
